By default you will see appointments of 30 minutes in length. If you need to show smaller or larger timeslots on the calendar you can do the following:
Go to Settings > Edit Calendars.
Click Edit on the calendar you want to edit.
Just the "Default Appointment Length" - e.g 15, 30, 45, 60
